Viviana Zarrillo: Bringing Life to Wynn Trueman

A veteran actress with a passion for performance

With nearly 40 years of experience, Viviana Zarrillo’s acting career has taken her across stage and screen, leaving a memorable impression wherever she performs. Whether relaxing during long weekends at a Blue Jays game or diving into the world of Andrea Martin’s Lady Parts, Viviana’s love for both performance and downtime is evident. When it comes to food, she’s all about steak—a fitting favorite for someone who appreciates Alberta’s rich offerings.

On stage, she channels her extensive expertise to create compelling, relatable characters, like Wynn Trueman. A fan of Norm Foster’s works, one of her favorite lines comes from The Ladies Foursome, with the hilarious exchange, “Connie: You know what they call people who are used to losing? Tate: I know what Bobby calls them. The Maple Leafs.” Her talents extend far beyond just great comedic timing—Viviana has worked with some incredible actors, including Lamar Johnson from The Next Step, a talent who has gone on to star in The Hate You Give and The Last of Us. Viviana’s career is a testament to her versatility, creativity, and dedication to her craft.

Matthew Olver: Playing the Role of Max Trueman

A Unique Blend of Talent & Relaxation

Matthew Olver is a seasoned actor with 30 years in the industry. When he’s not embodying characters like Max Trueman, you might find him escaping to his serene cottage in Northern Ontario. He enjoys disconnecting from the hustle and bustle, often with a good book like Paul Tremblay’s A Head Full of Ghosts or a favorite movie like the horror flick Oddity. While Matthew’s not hip on current songs, he’s a fan of Bloodbuzz Ohio by The National.

Matthew’s career has led him to work alongside some incredible actors, including Andy Garcia, whom he fondly remembers watching a Raptors game with during downtime on set. Though he may shy away from favorite NHL teams, his love for basketball and the Raptors is well-known. On stage, Matthew delivers Norm Foster’s sharp wit with finesse. One of his favorite reflections from Norm is, “I’ve never written a play that I was completely satisfied with, and anyone who has, is too easily satisfied.” It’s this perfectionism and dedication that make Matthew’s performances both hilarious and heartfelt.
