Hannah runs the family amusement park in the small Ontario town of Elmvale. She tries to resurrect their Spurs & Hearts Festival by booking country star Jesse Emberley who performed at the park a decade ago. Their lives are about to intersect again after the night they shared beneath the stars years ago. When friends Caroline and Ray get involved, laughter, romance and shenanigans ensue, making their encounter spin like a "Tilt-A-Whirl!"

"If you are a fan of country and everything that goes along with it, then this show was written just for you!"

Barry is annoyed that he's already living in a seniors' home at sixty-seven, but it's worth it to live near his daughter Rosie, who works at the home. So Barry spends his time shuffling around in his slippers, taking naps, and having dinner with Rosie, and that's good enough for him. But Barry doesn't get to revel in the quiet for long. Enter the flirtatious Jonas, who wrote one hit song thirty-seven years ago. Jonas likes to indulge in the finer things in life, like decadent dates and nice clothes, and he sees Barry the curmudgeon as a fixer upper. As they bicker and bond over women, sports, and family values, Jonas and Barry must learn to open up and face how to keep living their lives.

"I guarantee you will laugh. That's right, I guarantee it. Now, that's not a money back guarantee, I'm a playwright not a fool." - Norm Foster
